TEAMSHIP INFUSED LEADERSHIP
TEAMSHIP INFUSED LEADERSHIP
There comes a time, a realization that something, or someone, needs to change. But here's the thing - 'change' doesn't necessarily mean something or someone is wrong or broken.
Change can simply mean being heard or changing the lens you view your challenges and circumstances through. Make no mistake however, change often evokes anxiety and even panic - which is often why we dislike and avoid change.
Coaching helps us realize actual fears are doorways into new levels of understanding, sensing, and possibilities. New realizations can lead to consequential new perspectives and opportunities. But to gain this new, higher ground, we sometimes need a reset.
Borrowing from computer terminology, there are two ways to conduct a reset. A soft reset, good for modifications to tactical plans and processes, is not overly disturbing and more gentle on the system. A hard reset is required when there is significant upheaval and urgency, it is encompassing and can be profound.
A leadership reset draws from both ends of the spectrum. There needs to be immediacy, but not fear-based urgency. There needs to be insightful disruptive actions with clear commitments on outcomes, but an understanding there is no reward for going slow. Most of the time the organization and or person does not need to be blown up to achieve results. BREAKOUTcx Coaching provides the framework, support, and the guidance to co-create the optimum reset.
The reset begins by uncovering what's in the way of you developing your inner competencies that enable a new realization that you are so much more capable and resourceful than once believed. Experienced as 'insights' rather than faults, you gain a heightened understanding of your habit nature, personality traits, and disguised habits and aversions.
Real change begins to happen at the point of self-awareness
Sadly, too many leaders still desperately cling to out-dated controlling leadership approaches and paradigms. They are often unaware that today's business and personal landscapes are made up by a more fragmented and divergent group of players from a variety of domains than ever before. And it is all happening at a breakneck pace of change. Attempting to directly identify and manage all these external factors is daunting, if not outright impossible - especially if there is no clarity or insights into the problem.
BREAKOUTcx leadership coaching is anchored in being present at all times to become more self-aware and allow blind spots and aversions to emerge. In the point of neutrality, the client realizes they can better recognize and reorganize around their internal situation before tackling external circumstances. Coaching supports a shift in perspective and recalibration of self's potential resourcefulness, creativity, and expanded possibilities. These internalized outcomes shine a light on how external circumstances can be viewed and approached differently - with more clarity, confidence, and volition.
Finding and maintaining your purpose allows you to be more aware and intentional in what you do because you know exactly who you are and why you’re doing it. Yet, the vast majority of people go through life without a defined purpose. Without purpose, commitments become vulnerable to the influencers and encounters life throws at us - making it more challenging to uphold our genuine self.
Having purpose anchors your "Why". Why are you building a business? Why are you getting married? Why are you changing jobs? Why are you making that commitment? If you make commitments based only on external validation or rewards then those commitments are on shaky ground - you’re not truly committed. Purpose is something greater than our personality and it stems from an inner knowing. It is your North Star.
Within the BREAKOUTcx Leadership Coaching model, you are guided and supported to re-orientate away from making commitments based on who you and others think you should be - to making commitments, with purpose, anchored in who you are. BREAKOUTcx Coaching can fast-track executing upon your personal and professional purpose 'now', rather than toiling years in trial & error or hit & miss approaches.
